We Need your Help!

The Jan Schiff Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is a volunteer only organization and we cannot do what we do every year without the support, time and effort of our volunteers that donate their most valuable asset, their time, to make this PTO a success!

FBISD Volunteer Background Check

Volunteer criminal history applications become inactive annually after June 30th, so please update your application after July 1, 2024, to participate in Fort Bend ISD activities, including field trips and events. After submission, you'll receive an approval status via email within three to five business days, and once approved, you can connect with the JSE PTO to get involved.

Volunteer - Volunteering with the PTO enhances your child's education, strengthens community involvement, and provides essential resources for students and families.

Room Parent - Plan the classroom holiday and Valentine's party with the assistance of our Room parent chair. Or, take pictures at the class parties to share with our Yearbook chair. It's easy and fun!

Shark Store- We need Sharktastic volunteers to help run the Shark Store, where students spend their Sand Dollars earned from teachers!

Teacher Hospitality- Help give the teachers a monthly treat to show appreciation for all the hard work they do. Sign up as needed, to donate a food item, paper good, gift card or to help set up.

VIPS Room- Help teachers be their best by cutting and laminating for their projects in the VIPs room!

Yearbook - Help capture and document the major events at Jan Schiff so our sharks can keep memories in their yearbooks for years to come!.

5th Grade Committee - Our oldest sharks are almost ready to swim off so help them by planning the end-of-year events, special events throughout the year, and send these sharks off in style!
